Sims refused to install: sunset vally.objectcache and fullbuild0 errors. =w= First, I tried to install Ambitions, but it said I needed to update, and closed. The launcher said there were no new updates, so I re-installed EADM. It said it did not detect any games on my system.

So I decidd to re-install, startng from the base game. Unfortunatly, going to Control Panel > Add/Remov3 Programs didnt help, because Sims didnt show up as a program to remove. So I decided, fine, I would just install it, since apprently it isnt on my system. Oh, but nooo. =w= The installer stops at sunset valley.obectcache and an error message pops up saying the there is an error will fullbuild0.

'Incorrect Function' If I press 'retry' it will keep going. I have to press it several times throughout the download, and it will keep installing, but stops completely just a centimeter away from finishing. I'm not sure what to do about this. I've looked ll over, and a few people had the same problem, but never got an answer.

MTS2 Staff Reply • Sims 3 - Uninstall This wiki link has the step-by-step instructions to guide you through uninstalling The Sims 3, and its packs (EP/SP). If you're reinstalling because you're reverting to an older patch, or just do not want to use the Launcher/EADM to patch, read this FAQ wiki once through before patching and then follow the guide. Uninstall that way - those instructions will let you completely uninstall the game even if the normal uninstaller isn't working. Then you should be able to reinstall.

I get this error when I try to install my game: File: j: Caches Sunset Valley. The Sims 3 disc (and its subsequent expansions) apparently has issues. Says the(sunset valley caches) clean it put it back it and download should.

Error: Data error (cycli redundancy check)] keeps popping up Every time the message popped up and I clicked 'RETRY' the installation bar increased so I thought it was going fine but at one point it didn't move at all and I had to cancel. There's nothing wrong with the DVD drive, all our other CD (Sims 2) and DVD works on the drive. This is actually my 2nd time installing this game. I have installed this game when I first bought it and un-installed it due to a crash and couple years later I am trying to re-install it again but I am getting stuck at susetvalley.objectcache. I don't recall having this problem during my first Sims 3 installation. I have tried redeeming my game at Origin but it says the serial code has already been used but this too, I don't remember using it on origin ever T_T I know this question has been asked many times but I could not find any updated answers.
