It works 'okay', but with 10 bits of A/D (instead of 8 bits), I expected the video to look a little better. NTSC 720x480 from a movie DVD or my camera, looks much, much better. I'm using this Grabber to capture composite video from my telescope.
I have a good quality camera (Samsung SCB-2000) and the picture on my 42' EDTV (852 x 480 native resolution) is great. It's DVD movie quality. But the captured video and pictures from the Grabber are not very good. Fuzzy, not at all real clear like watching the EDTV live. I have a cheap video home security system, and compared the 4-channel DVR (made by Defender) picture and video capture with the Encore ENMVG-3. They look about the same.

It did work, however the quality was not good at all. I assumed it was the old Hi8 video tapes I was trying to record from. I then switched to the camera mode on my old camcorder and the quality was just as bad. Tried three other cameras including my Canon 60D DSLR for live view and the quality was still bad.
